IFB - Propane

INVITATION TO BID – RESIDENTIAL PROPANE GAS
The Franklin County Regional Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is now accepting sealed bids for the delivery of propane gas to residential properties in Franklin County owned by the HRA for the contract period November 1, 2014 to October 31, 2015. 

Sealed bids may be submitted by one of two methods using a required bid form available from HRA:

1.                             Selkirk  Price plus markup:  Bids should be based on the Selkirk low price published during the week of the delivery plus a fixed markup price per gallon/therm. 
2.                             Fixed Rate:  Companies may offer a fixed rate for each property.  Bids can be on a per property basis.  For Vendors offering a Landlord Business Association rate please specify as HRA is a member.

Property Locations:  Orange, Bernardston, Northfield and Buckland.  Vendors may bid any or all of the listed properties.  Multiple contracts may be awarded based on the price at each property. 

Bids should be based on the Selkirk price as of October 15, 2014.  Interested bidders may pick up descriptive information and required bid form at the HRA office on or after October 6, 2014 at 42 Canal Road, Turners Falls, MA between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm.  HRA is closed from 12:00 to 1:00 Monday through Friday.  Information may also be mailed or e-mailed to bidders.  Please contact Tracy Miner at tminer@fcrhra.org or by phone at 413-863-9781 x126 to request a bid packet by mail or email.


Sealed bids will be opened at the HRA office on October 24, 2014 at 1:15 pm.  The HRA reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.  The HRA reserves the right to waive any informalities as may be in the best interest of the HRA.
